Press and Creator Kit Usage Terms

These Press and Creator Kit Usage Terms (“Terms”) explain how you may use the images, videos, logos, and other materials provided by Ember Crows Ltd (“Ember Crows”, “we”, “us”, “our”) through our Media page, press centre, or downloadable kits (the “Press Kit Materials”).

By downloading, accessing, or using any Press Kit Materials, you agree to these Terms.

1) Who we are

2) What the Press Kit Materials include

Press Kit Materials may include, for example:

  • studio logos and brand assets

  • key visuals, screenshots, concept art

  • videos, trailers, and b-roll

  • project descriptions and fact sheets

  • creator extras (such as thumbnail backgrounds or overlays)

 

Where a project name is shown as a codename or working title, it is provided for reference only and may change.

 

3) Permitted uses (what you may do)

You may use the Press Kit Materials for editorial and coverage purposes relating to Ember Crows and our project(s), including:

  • articles, reviews, previews, interviews, news posts

  • videos, streams, podcasts, and social posts

  • thumbnails and channel artwork that relate specifically to your coverage

  • monetised coverage (for example, ad-supported videos or streams)

 

You may edit Press Kit Materials only as needed for formatting and presentation, such as:

  • cropping and resizing

  • light colour correction

  • adding captions, subtitles, or overlays

  • combining assets into thumbnails or layouts

  • compressing files for upload

 

4) Credit and attribution

Please credit Ember Crows where practical.

Suggested credit line:
“Assets courtesy of Ember Crows Ltd.”

If you are referencing the project while it is still under a codename, please use:
“Working title: Project Veles.”

 

5) Prohibited uses (what you may not do without permission)

You must not use the Press Kit Materials:

  • for paid advertising, promoted posts, or marketing campaigns not connected to editorial coverage (including sponsorship creatives)

  • for merchandise, physical products, packaging, or resale

  • to create or sell NFTs or other tokenised assets

  • to register or claim trademarks, social handles, domains, or product listings

  • in any way that suggests Ember Crows endorses you, your channel, your product, or your brand, unless we have agreed in writing

  • in any defamatory, misleading, or unlawful context

 

If you want to use Press Kit Materials for advertising, sponsorship, merchandise, or any commercial promotional purpose beyond editorial coverage, contact us at contact@embercrows.com for written permission.

 

6) No ownership transfer

Press Kit Materials remain the property of Ember Crows or our licensors. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable permission to use the Press Kit Materials for the permitted uses above.

 

7) Work in progress disclaimer

All Press Kit Materials may be work in progress. Screenshots, videos, features, and descriptions may change during development. We do not guarantee that any particular content, feature, or visual shown will appear in the final release.

 

8) Removal requests and updates

We may update, replace, or remove Press Kit Materials at any time. If we ask you to stop using a specific asset (for example, because it has been replaced or was shared in error), you agree to make reasonable efforts to remove or replace it in future posts and updates.

 

9) Third-party rights

Some Press Kit Materials may include content licensed from third parties. You must not use those materials outside the permitted uses. If a specific asset includes a credit note or special restriction, that restriction applies.

 

10) Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so (including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence).

To the extent permitted by law, Ember Crows will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of Press Kit Materials. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with these Terms and any applicable laws or platform rules.

 

11) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
