Year-end note

As the year comes to a close, we want to say thank you.

Thank you to everyone who followed our early steps, shared our work, signed up to the newsletter, sent kind messages, and helped us keep momentum. Building a new studio and starting an original RPG is a long road, and support like that matters more than people realise.

What we built this year

This year was about foundations.

We focused on:

  • establishing Ember Crows as a studio with clear intent and long-term plans

  • moving our debut project, Project Veles, into active development

  • shaping the tone, themes, and direction of a neo-noir cyberpunk RPG

  • building early workflows so the project can scale responsibly

  • preparing the groundwork for future milestones, including a vertical slice

We have kept public details limited on purpose. The work has been happening, but we want to share it when it represents the game properly.

What changes in 2026

In 2026, you will see a shift in how we communicate.

We are preparing a new website and a more structured way of sharing progress. Updates will become more regular, and we will start publishing deeper development notes as we hit key milestones.

You will also see a clearer path for:

  • newsletter updates

  • media and creator resources

  • careers and speculative applications

  • future announcements as we move toward the next stage

Stay close

If you want to follow the journey and be first to know when we publish the next milestone drop, the newsletter is the best way to stay connected.
